Legacy Banks will Host Mortgage Pre-Approval Program at Holmes Rd. Office

Legacy Banks will host a free Mortgage Pre-Approval Program in Pittsfield for those interested in learning what type of home they can afford to purchase. The session will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Legacy Banks, 2 Holmes Road, Lenox.

Those who qualify will leave with a pre-approval certificate and a coupon for $500 off closing costs. Attendees should bring a current pay stub and most recent tax return. Self-employed individuals should bring two years of tax returns. Mortgage officers will be on hand to meet one-on-one with individuals or families to determine the amount of a mortgage for which they will be approved, barring any changes in their financial status. Home Equity applications and information will also be available.

Anyone interested in attending, should call 413-445-3437 or 800-292-6634 for an appointment, although walk-ins will be accommodated. Legacy Banks has been a MassHousing Lender since 1992 and is an Equal Housing Lender.
