Greylock Promotes Halloween Safety

- October 16, 2007

Free Flashlight Giveaway

Greylock Federal Credit Union wants everyone to have a safe and happy Halloween and to help make it especially enjoyable for kids and parents.

Berkshire County youth can visit any of the 12 Greylock Federal branch locations or any of the six Greylock Insurance Agency locations around the county on Oct. 31, and pick up a free flashlight to use for trick-or-treat.

Vicky May, manager of marketing partnerships and promotions, said, "Everyone at Greylock wants to help make Halloween a fun, safe and happy time for the kids. These flashlights will help keep our kids safe while trick-or-treating."

The week prior to Halloween, Greylock’s branches and insurance locations will be giving away "Ghoulish Treasures," including glow-sticks and glow-bracelets, trick-or-treat bags and glow-in-the-dark stickers, compliments of Greylock’s Youth Program.

Greylock was recently rated the top credit union in the United States for total value returned to members/owners according to Callahan & Associates, a national credit union research and consulting firm. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, attends school, worships or regularly conducts business in Berkshire County. It offers full-service branches in Pittsfield, Great Barrington, Lee, Adams, North Adams, and Williamstown. More information is available at www.greylock.org

Greylock Insurance Agency is based at 128 South St. in Pittsfield with additional offices at 150 West St. and in North Adams, Williamstown, Adams and soon in Great Barrington. More information is available at www.greylockinsuranceagency.com
