Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) will hold a ribbon cutting for its recently renovated grass field and new press box at the Joseph Zavattaro Athletic Complex on West Shaft Road on Saturday, Oct. 20, at 11:30 a.m.

The event is free and open to the public.

Speakers will include MCLA President Mary K. Grant, MCLA Head Women’s Soccer Coach Deborah Raber, Head Men’s Soccer Coach Adam Hildabrand, and student-athletes Lisa Merrill ’08 and Jason Mlodzianowski ’08.

The day also marks the Women’s Soccer Senior Day, when MCLA’s four senior women soccer players – Merrill, Sara Miller ’08, Kristean Kissel ’08 and Christina Murray ’08 – will be honored. In addition, the women’s soccer team will play Framingham State at 1 p.m. on the field.

MCLA’s new press box was constructed by students from the McCann Technical High School. For more information, go to www.mcla.edu/athletics
