MCLA To Hold Veteran’s Day Concert - October 17, 2007
The Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) Department of Fine and Performing Arts will present “A Veteran’s Day Salute,” on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 3 p.m. in the Church Street Center.
A joint concert of the MCLA Chorus and the MCLA Community Concert Band, the concert will honor the area’s local veterans on the holiday weekend.
The event is free and open to the public.
The program will feature a wide selection of American and patriotic standards, including “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” “America the Beautiful” and “God Bless America.”
The MCLA band and chorus are under the direction of Jack Brown. For more information, call 413-662-5255.
