The Berkshire Hills Chorus presents “A Cappella Showcase”, sponsored by Greylock Federal Credit Union and Pittsfield Cooperative Bank, on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at The Colonial Theater, 111 South Street, Pittsfield at 7:00 p.m. This show will be a musical of contemporary song favorites sung in barbershop style.
The Berkshire Hills Chorus was founded in Pittsfield in 1969. It is a member of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performance.
Special guests appearing this night are “Alacazam” and Harvard University’s “Din & Tonics”. “Alacazam” is the 2007 North Atlantic Region 1 Quartet Champion.
