AHEC, Inc presents the continuing education program, “Topics in Radiology”

The Berkshire Area Health Education Center (AHEC), Inc presents the continuing education program, “Topics in Radiology” designed for radiologic technologists and nursing professionals on Saturday, November 3, from 8:00 am -12:30 pm at the Berkshire Medical Center Auditorium, 725 North Street, Pittsfield.

Multiple speakers will present the following topics: Radiation Protection: Optimization of Radiation Protection for Radiographers, Effectively Treating Patients with Pervasive Developmental Disorders and Recent Advances in the Care and Management of HIV/AIDS Patients: A 25 Year Retrospective.

Program registration and continental breakfast begins in the BMC Private Dining Rooms A & B at 7:30 am. One credit in radiation protection and three direct radiation credits have been approved by the Massachusetts Society of Radiologic Technologists and 4.8 credits are available for nurses. A $50 fee ($40 for MSRT members) includes breakfast, program materials and continuing education certificate.

Advanced registration and payment are required. A late fee of $55 ($45 for MSRT members) will apply to registrations received after October 26th. Berkshire AHEC is supported in part by HRSA, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and University of Massachusetts Medical School as part of the Mass AHEC Network.
