Gallery Talk to Focus on Cubism - October 23, 2007
WILLIAMSTOWN - The Williams College Museum of Art will present an Interdisciplinary Gallery Talk Series. Scholars will explore facets of the literature, theater, music and art presented in the exhibition "Making It New: The Art and Style of Sara and Gerald Murphy."
Mark Haxthausen, Robert Sterling Clark professor of art history at Williams will be discussing the connection of the Murphys and cubism on Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 12:10 p.m. at the museum. This is a free, public event.
The museum is located on Main Street. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 to 5 and Sunday from 1 to 5. The museum is wheelchair accessible and admission is free. For more information: 413-597-2429. |
