Berkshire Enterprises to Host Forum 11/16

- November 05, 2007

The Berkshire Enterprises announces that it is expanding its monthly Business Forums to North County. The forums have been running in Pittsfield since 2001. The November program will be held on Friday, November 16th from 7:30 to 9:00 AM at the Williams Inn in Williamstown.

The forum is called What Your Local Banker Can Do For Your Business When You Are Not Looking For A Loan and will feature a discussion with Steve Munger of Berkshire Bank talking about banking services and resources available to help small businesses be more successful. There will be an opportunity for open discussion for participants in the program.

Most people understand that local banks loan money to businesses. Fewer realize the other services and expertise that local banks can offer their business customers whether they need loans or not. The breakfast forum will provide participants the opportunity to explore an expanded vision of how their banks can serve their needs today and in the future.

The Business Forum is free and a light refreshments and coffee will be served. Space is limited and reservations are required. For reservations or for more information about the Forums, call Steve Fogel at Berkshire Enterprises at 413-236-2141.

The program is the first of a series of monthly Business Forums focusing on practical business issues for small businesses that Berkshire Enterprises is holding in North County. The Forums are sponsored by Berkshire Bank, Legacy Banks, Greylock Federal Credit Union, TD Banknorth, and the Pittsfield Cooperative Bank. Berkshire Enterprises is a program of the Office for Workforce Development at Berkshire Community College.
