Gift Wrap Volunteers Needed

- November 26, 2007

PITTSFIELD - The Berkshire County Chapter of the American Red Cross will have its annual gift wrapping booth at the Berkshire Mall in Lanesborough beginning Dec. 1 and running through Dec. 24.

The booth will be located in the JC Penney Courtyard, operating Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sundays from 11 to 7.
Dec. 24, the booth will be open from 8 to 4.

This gift wrap booth is a major fundraiser for the Berkshire Red Cross with all proceeds going toward programs and services in Berkshire County such as disaster relief, medical transportation, services for the military and their families; HIV/AIDS support services, health and safety courses, certified nurse assistant training, youth leadership training and blood services.

This is a good opportunity for people to come and have their holiday gifts wrapped while helping a friend or neighbor in need right here in Berkshire County.

For more information on how to volunteer to wrap at the gift wrap booth or about the Red Cross, call Millie at 413-442-1506, Ext 13.
