Insurance Counselor Attends CIC Program - November 26, 2007
PITTSFIELD - Carolyn DiCarlo, sales and marketing manager of the Colt Insurance Agency Inc. at 101 South St. and a certified insurance counselor, recently attended the Certified Risk Managers International program held in Hartford, Conn.
To earn the certified insurance counselors designation, DiCarlo attended five courses covering all phases of the insurance business and passed five comprehensive examinations. Additionally, the National Alliance requires annual attendance in the program to maintain the designation.
DiCarlo, a 25-year veteran of the insurance industry, has been a CIC since 2000. She said she believes the insurance profession is best served by those who acquire and maintain a high standard of professionalism by meeting continuing education requirements at the Certified Risk Managers Program.
