MCLA Offers New Courses for Spring Semester
NORTH ADAMS – Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts will begin its spring semester on Tuesday, Jan. 15, with a wide range of day and evening courses.The new course "Sport Psychology" will introduce students to the current research and theoretical perspectives related to various psychological and psychosocial components of exercise and sport participation and competition.
Another new course, "African-American Leaders," taught by history professor Frances Jones-Sneed, will examine black American leaders from a slave preacher to 21st-century presidential contender Barak Obama through films, novels and autobiographies.
Evening courses will include those on federal taxation – entities; money, banking, global financial markets; and marketing communications.
