MCLA men's basketball team fell to Framingham State 77 to 64

North Adams - Despite having five players in double figures two of who collected a double-double, the MCLA men's basketball team (6-13, 1-6) fell to conference opponent Framingham State College (9-11, 4-3).

First year forward, Jon Greenberg lead the way in the loss scoring a season high 14 points and pulling down a season high 12 rebounds. Senior forward, Diante Ellis doubled up for the sixth time this season scoring 13 points and collecting 11 rebounds. Another season high came from Pat O'Connell; playing in his 11th game of the season he scored 10 points on the night.

Framingham ( 9-11, 4-3) had four players in double figures with Josue Almodovar leading the winning effort with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Framingham had four other players in double figures; Bill Carey with 13, Darius Yarrell scoring 12, Michael Hines with 11 and Royce Veal with 10 points.

The Trailblazers would come as close as three points in the second half, but just couldn't take the lead. MCLA dominated the boards, but the difference in the game for was their foul shooting and turnover margin.
