Five Chefs Create Dinner for Berkshire Grown - February 26, 2008
Five fabulously creative local chefs will create a maple inspired dinner on March 12, 2008 at Spice to celebrate the first harvest of the growing season—maple syrup.
Brian Alberg, Executive Chef, at the Red Lion Inn, Christopher Brooks, Executive Chef at Blantyre. Peter Platt, the Executive Chef and Owner of the Old Inn on the Green, and Steve Sherman, Executive Chef at The Marketplace of the Berkshires will join host chef, Douglas Luf, Executive Chef at Spice, 297 North Street in Pittsfield, MA to create a delicious multi-course meal.
A complimentary tasting of local beers from Barrington Brewery and Pittsfield Brew Works with music by Micah Stone will begin at 6 pm. Dinner starts at 7 pm. There will be a cash bar. The event takes place on Wednesday March 12, 2008.
Berkshire Grown members will receive a discount, their tickets cost $55. Farmers receive a larger discount, their tickets cost $45. Non member tickets cost $65.
