“Arranged” at the Triplex

- February 26, 2008

GREAT BARRINGTON – The Berkshire International Film Festival (BIFF) and the Triplex Cinema continue their monthly screenings on Sunday, March 2 at 11:00 a.m. at the Triplex with the film, “Arranged” directed by Stefan Schaefer.

The film is free and open to the public.

“Arranged” is the story of two young women; one an Orthodox Jew, the other Muslim. The two women become friends as first-year teachers at a public school in Brooklyn. Over the course of the year, they learn they share much in common, not least of which is that they are both going through arranged marriages by their parents.

The film was shown at last May at the Berkshire International Film Festival and received the Audience Award for best feature film. The film stars Zoe Lister-Jones, John Rothman and Marcia Jean Kurtz.
