Click Here: Spring Comes Earlier to Walden PondStaff reports - March 21, 2008 iBerkshires
 | | Cherry blossoms are opening earlier than ever. | Hard to believe with the wind and snow here in North County, but spring is coming earlier every year in New England.

Thoreau tracked the natural world in his journals. | Scientists say it's global warming that's rushing plants to bud weeks before normal.
While there are plenty of naysayers out there, even the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency says the Earth is likely to be up to 7 degrees warmer than 1990 levels by the end of this century.
We're glad spring is here, but we wonder if some day there'll be beach weather in February. |
Oooh. Watch out. Clark Billings will be calling you names on his show because you dare to understand the difference between weather and climate.
