Drury Band Selling Baked Goods to Fund Fla. Trip

- April 06, 2008

NORTH ADAMS - Members of the Drury High School band and band front are selling a variety of fresh-baked breads and coffee cakes from now until Wednesday, April 16, to raise funds for their anticipated trip to Disneyworld in Orlando, Fla., in spring 2009.

The baked goods are products of Morningside Bakery in Pittsfield, assuring freshness and natural ingredients.

The sale features a vanilla or lemon pound cake, and cranberry and banana nut breads, each loaf measuring 4 inches wide 4 inches high by 9 inches long. The featured product is Morningside Bakery's 10-inch round cinnamon streusel coffee cake. Additional savings for ordering more than one item are available. Ingredients for each item are listed in the brochure.

All breads and cakes are delivered in vacuum-sealed wrapping and may be frozen for future use. Orders are scheduled for home delivery on Friday, May 9, just two days prior to Mother's Day.

Baked goods are available from any band or band front member or by calling Carl Jenkins at Drury High School at 413-662-3240, Ext. 3309.
