NBCC Seeking Good Neighbors
NORTH ADAMS - Northern Berkshire Community Coalition is once again seeking nominations for the semi-annual Community Recognition Awards.Given twice a year, the next ceremony will take place Tuesday, May 6, beginning at 5 p.m. at Beth Israel Synagogue on Lois Street.
The awards can be given for small acts of kindness by an individual (for example, a neighbor who mowed your lawn – or a student who helped an agency), or a group (such as a church youth group) that has helped others, a beautification by a neighbor that really spiffs up the neighborhood, or a business that really helped out the community or a small group. It may be a special award to recognize someone for volunteering for years at a task.
Print the form below and mail it back or download and attach to an e-mail. Or just write out what the person or persons has done to help others with their name and address, or e-mail and phone if you know it. Nominators should include their name and how to be contacted.
