More Snow
The Berkshires received several inches of snow this morning, but not enough to close schools, unlike yesterday's sleety mess. Temperatures will drop into the 20s this afternoon. A few more snow showers are expected through the weekend. |

MCLA Dance Company To Present Spring Show - April 09, 2008
NORTH ADAMS – The Dance Company of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) will present its spring show on Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19, at 8 p.m., at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (Mass MoCA).
MCLA’s Dance Company is the college’s largest student club, consisting of dancers with a wide range of experience, as well as diverse and creative ideas. “These differences are what make each show so entertaining and fresh each semester,” said Christine Ziobro, a member of Dance Company. Performances will include hip hop, ballet, and jazz pieces, choreographed entirely by MCLA students.
“The fact that we have so many different kinds of dancers, all with a different level of experience, is what makes Dance Company so great,” said Brendon Makein, secretary of the club. “We incorporate everyone and try to make it fun, and the end product is a great show that we all had a lot of fun performing.”
General admission is $5, and can be purchased at the door. To reserve tickets, call 413-662-2111. Mass MoCA is at 87 Marshall St., North Adams. For more information, go to www.mcla.edu |
