Zonta Club To Hold Annual Professional Clothing Drive - April 10, 2008
The Zonta Club of Berkshire County will hold their annual spring professional clothing drive for women entering the workforce on Saturday, April 26 from 9 AM - 1 PM at the Christian Center, 193 Robbins Avenue, Pittsfield.
Items needed are gently-worn suits, slacks, sweaters, blouses, skirts, as well as accessories such as purses, scarves and shoes. Please bring clothing on hangers, clean and ready-to-wear. Outfits will be provided at no cost to local women who are preparing for interviews or employment for the first time or after an absence from the workforce through the Suit Yourself program. Suit Yourself has served 70 people locally in the last six months. Donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law, and receipts will be available.
