Williams College Student Cello Recital Set - April 23, 2008
WILLIAMSTOWN — The Williams College Department of Music will present the end-of-semester recital of cello students on Tuesday, May 6, at 12:15 p.m. in Chapin Hall on campus. Seating will be on the Chapin stage. This free event is open to the public.
The afternoon of music will highlight students under the tutelage of Nathaniel Parke, artist associate in cello. The program will include sophomore Katie Palmer playing Rachmaninoff's Sonata; Junior Mimi Lou, Martinu's Sonata 2; freshman Carlos Diaz-Sullivan, Ludwig Mendelssohn's Student Concerto; freshman Laura Pickel, Marcello's Sonata in E Minor, and junior Zach Quay-delaVallee, Granados' Intermezzo and Rachmaninoff's Vocalise. |
