Greylock Expands Services to Include Health Insurance Coverage

09:41AM / Monday, May 12, 2008

Jeff Naughton
New VP is Added to the Team

Pittsfield – Greylock Insurance Agency has expanded its services to offer employer health plans. Jeff Naughton, a specialist in group health insurance, joined the agency as a Vice President, bringing 23 years experience in insurance.

Greylock President, Angelo C. Stracuzzi said, “We know how tough it is for employers to offer competitive benefit packages in these difficult economic times. Greylock Insurance Agency can now help local businesses choose a health insurance plan that is right for their particular organization.”

Kent Hudson, Greylock Senior Vice President Operations said, “This is a great addition to the services we offer Berkshire County employers in need of an advocate when selecting a health care plan.”

Jeff Naughton said, “Given the ongoing changes is the health insurance industry, such as the new Massachusetts Health Care Law, many employers in the Berkshires do not have the staff or the time to keep abreast of the health care environment. We can do that for them. For employers large or small, Greylock Insurance brings a resource of experience and expertise to their Human Resource team.”

Naughton brings 23 years experience to Greylock, 15 of which were with Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, and 8 years with his own firm associated with Gallup & Casey in North Adams. He is a graduate of Drury High School in North Adams and holds a BS in Marketing & Management from Siena College in Loudonville, NY in 1987. Naughton sits on the Airport Commission for the City of North Adams. Naughton and his wife, Christine DeMasi-Naughton, have been married 28 years and have 2 children.

Naughton’s office is at I40 Main Street in North Adams and he is able to meet customers at their home, place of business or any Greylock Insurance Agency location throughout Berkshire County.

In 2007 Greylock Insurance purchased the insurance business of Gallup & Casey Insurance Services, Inc. Greylock Insurance has additional locations at 150 West Street and 128 South Street, both in Pittsfield; 552 Main Street in Williamstown, 329 Stockbridge Road and 2 Park Street in Adams.

The agency from north to south now fields 25 insurance professionals and handles commercial and personal lines sales, group life, group dental, group disability insurance as well as claims service and premium payments. More information is available at www.greylockinsuranceagency.com.
