BCC to Offer New Workshops

- May 16, 2008

Berkshire Community College will offer the following new workshops at its South County Center in Great Barrington this summer.

“Antiques 101” (WKS 2100) teaches students what antiques are, how to recognize them, and how to figure the cost. This course also covers the appraisal business. Classes meet Tuesday evening, June 17 through July 15, from 6 to 8. Registration costs $105.

“Conversation with the Soul of America” (WKS 2077), an astrologically based non-partisan discussion, focuses on the series of events leading up to America’s birth being formally recognized by the world, July 4, 1776 in Philadelphia. Students converse with astrological symbols translated into practical English. Classes meet Wednesday evening, June 25 through July 16, from 6 to 8. Registration costs $85.

For more information, or to register, visit the South County Center at 343 Main Street in Great Barrington; or call 413-528-4521 or long distance 800-816-1233 (in Mass only), ext. 5201 or 5202.
