Alexander M. Bashara Scholarship Applications Available at BCC - July 28, 2008
PITTSFIELD - The Berkshire Community College Foundation has announced that scholarship applications are available for the Alexander M. Bashara Scholarship.
This scholarship will assist high school age students who are not eligible for financial aid assistance and intend on taking a course or courses at BCC. Potential applicants that fit the criteria could be students that are being home schooled, dual enrollment students and/or students who wish to add a class to their high school schedule. Scholarship awards are not transferable to another institution.
Applications are available from the home school network group, BCC Financial Aid office or by contacting Ann Phillips at BCC, 236-2185 or aphillips@berkshirecc.edu. Students must complete the application form, obtain a recommendation, and write a personal statement. Applications are due by Friday, August 22, 2008. Award notification will be done by the end of August and students may use the scholarship funds for classes beginning September 2008. |
