Berkshire Children’s Circus Camp

- August 06, 2008

The Berkshire Children’s Circus Camp, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, will present its annual Grande Finale performance Friday evening, Aug. 15, at 7, and again Saturday afternoon, Aug. 16, at 1, in the Paterson Field House at Berkshire Community College.

Open to the public, the one-ring performance is the culminating event of camp and allows its 60 young performers, ages 8-15, to display new skills and self-confidence in front of a live audience. Suitable especially for families with young children, each performance includes all the excitement of the Big Top and consists of such acts as tumbling, artistic cycling, juggling, clowning, stilt and wire walking, trapeze skills, and pyramids. Music is provided by the Eagles Band.

Tickets, which will be available at the door, are $4 per person. Campers will help sell cotton candy, popcorn, hot dogs, drinks, and souvenirs at each show.
