Call For Quilts for exhibit at Hancock Shaker Village Country Fair - August 21, 2008
The Quilting Friends of Hancock Shaker Village are calling for quilts to display at their annual show in the Round Stone Barn during the Country Fair on Saturday and Sunday, September 27 & 28, 2008.
If your collection includes present day handiwork or an antique quilt, and has not been exhibited at the Village previously, consider including it in the display located in the historic setting of the Shaker Barn. Please call Connie Logan at 413 528-9941 for more information.
The annual Country Fair at Hancock Shaker Village is a fun-filled family event. Activities for children, traditional crafts, a farmers’ market, and agricultural demonstrations will take place throughout the Shaker Village.
It’s certain to provide enjoyment for young and old! The Village is open from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM on both Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28th. Admission will combine a visit to the historic buildings with all of the special events of the Country Fair. |
