NORTH ADAMS – Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) has announced that, beginning Sept. 8, the college will offer a Human Resources Generalist Certificate.
The HR Generalist Series, a collaborative offering between the Employers Association of the NorthEast (EANE) and the Office of Continuing Education at MCLA, will build skills in human resource core competencies. The certificate of completion will be awarded from EANE and MCLA.
The HR Generalist Certificate program will be offered in an accelerated delivery method with open enrollment opportunities. The schedule will include a five-course, 45-hour program with evening classes meeting once a week at MCLA. The certificate program can be completed in 16 weeks, over one semester.
Certification in this program gives the practicing human resources professional a way to demonstrate an advanced level of professional competencies, knowledge and credibility.
