Chapters Bookstore Celebrates 3rd Thursday in September

Pittsfield - Chapters Bookstore, located at 78 North St, is pleased to welcome Joe Staton and Tim Callahan for 3rd Thursday on September 18th, for a booksigning and discussion beginning at 6PM.

Joe Staton began his career at Charlton Comics, where he created among others 'E-Man'. From the 1970s, he was present at DC with superhero comics like 'Batman' and its several spin-offs, 'Green Lantern', but also cartoon like comics such as 'Scooby Doo' and 'Archie Super-Teens'. Staton also worked for Marvel for a while, where he did the inking of Sal Buscema's 'The Hulk' stories.

Timothy Callahan is an educator, husband, father of two, writer of Grant Morrison: The Early Years, and editor of the forthcoming Teenagers From The Future. He writes for Back Issue magazine and Comic Book Resources.
