More Snow
The Berkshires received several inches of snow this morning, but not enough to close schools, unlike yesterday's sleety mess. Temperatures will drop into the 20s this afternoon. A few more snow showers are expected through the weekend.
We have reports that the roads are very slippery to take care in the evening commute. |

 Wanted: Eagle Eyes MassWildlife's annual eagle count runs Dec. 31 to Jan. 14. Anyone sighting one of the regal birds in Massachusetts is asked to participate.

 | | Dr. Murali | PITTSFIELD - Berkshire Medical Center announces the appointment of Rangan Murali, MD, a fellowship trained, board certified gastroenterologist, to the BMC medical staff. Dr. Murali has joined Central Berkshire Gastroenterology and is partnered with Larry Pellish, MD, Jeffrey St. John, MD and Arthur Wasser, MD in providing gastroenterology services to patients throughout the Berkshire region. Dr. Murali comes to the Berkshires from Chicago, where he previously served with John Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County/RUSH University Medical Center. He was fellowship trained in gastroenterology at John Stroger, Jr. Hospital, where he also completed his medical residency and served as Chief Resident in the Department of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Murali received his medical degree from Coimbatore Medical College, Bharathiar University, India, and is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He serves in the United States Army Reserve and has the rank of Major.
