Readers Wanted for Diversity Reading at BCC

- September 25, 2008

For the second year Berkshire Community College's Diversity Club and The Berkshire Writers Room has teamed up to present a new reading on the theme of diversity called, "Encountering the Other" and are looking for readers from the community and beyond.

All genres accepted, including works by other authors that meet the theme's criteria of "diversity." All readings must be no more than 15 minutes in duration.

Readers must apply before October 15th. If you are interested in reading, please mail a sample of your original work, or the author and title of the piece you are reading, with your name address and contact information to The Berkshire Writers Room, 1350 West Street, Pittsfield, 01201 or call at (413) 236-2191. You can also email your information to: smack@berkshirecc.edu.

The reading will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd, from 7-9PM in the Susan B. Anthony Building Student Lounge. Refreshments will be served.
