NORTH ADAMS, Mass - Animal D.R.E.A.M.S. is providing an informational meeting and training at the North Adams Public Library on Monday, November 3 at 6 pm. Animal D.R.E.A.M.S. was recently awarded two grants from PetSmart Charities and the Massachusetts Animal Coalition (“I’m Animal Friendly” license plate monies) for the spay/neuter of 250 feral (wild) or stray cats in North Adams.
Yvonne Borsody, founder and director of Animal D.R.E.A.M.S., will identify neighborhoods with feral cat colonies and discuss how the Trap-Neuter-Return initiative will be implemented, with a focus on volunteer and community involvement.
Animal D.R.E.A.M.S. (Dignified Rescues, Education, Advocacy, Medical Services) is a not-for-profit organization based in Berkshire County. In its tenth year, Animal D.R.E.A.M.S. has humanely trapped and provided spay/neuter/veterinary care for two thousand cats. Funding and services are obtained through grants, donations and volunteers.
