John Szawlowski repeats on New England Football Writers Div. II-III All Star TeamWilliams Sports Info - November 26, 2008
BOSTON, Mass. – Twenty-eight players representing 17 different teams have been named to the 2008 New England Football Writers Division II/III All-New England team.
John Szawlowski (Hatfield, MA/Northampton HS), the left offensive tackle for Williams College the past three years was named to the Division II-III team for the second consecutive year. In his 24 games as a starter Szawlowski helped lead the Ephs to a record of 20-4 and in his four years Williams did not lose to Amherst.
A three-time First Team All-NESCAC choice, Szawlowski was also named to the ECAC-Northeast All Star Team in 2007 ('08 team not announced yet).
The team will be honored at the New England Football Writers Banquet on Thursday, December 11 at Casa di Fiore in Wilmington. Tickets are $35 each. People interested in attending should contact Dick Lipe at Bentley College at 781-891-2334. |
