MassWildlife's annual eagle count runs Dec. 31 to Jan. 14. Anyone sighting one of the regal birds in Massachusetts is asked to participate.

Santa to ride the rails at the Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum

LENOX, Mass. — The Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum, Inc. is happy to announce that Santa will be riding the Museum’s trains on two weekends; November 29 & 30 and December 6 & 7. All trains will operate out of Lenox Station, 10 Willow Creek Road, Lenox, Massachusetts.

Round trips from Lenox Station on the following schedule: 11:00am, Noon, 1:00pm, and 2:00pm for the 40 minute round trip rides to Lee.

Fares
Adults $11, Seniors 65+ 10, Kids 4 to 14 $7
Kids under 4 ride free.

Seating will be limited as the museum has only three heated passenger coaches. Tickets will be sold first come, first served only, no advance reservations are available.

During the summer season the railroad museum is open from 10 am to 3:30 pm every Saturday, Sunday and holiday Memorial Day through Halloween. 90 minute narrated trains rides: Adults $15, Seniors 65+ $14, children 4-14 $8.
