The Lenox Contra Dance celebrates with it's annual Holiday Dance on December 20th. The early session, from 5 to 7 pm, features one of two local favorite bands, Bottom of the Bucket, with calling by Jon Greene. Really good contras with several waltzes mixed in.
Then from 7 to 8 we will have a potluck dinner. It's a nice warm opportunity to chat and be part of our whole community.
For evening dance, from 8 to 11:30, we have another area band that has played many, many wonderful dances, The Flying Garbonzos, with Fern Bradley calling. In keeping with the earlier session, there will be extra waltzes. This is a great double header event, especially if you love waltzing or would like to get in some practice!
$15 for both sessions, $10 for the evening session only.
