North Adams, Mass. – Rob Abel has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Investment Services at True North, according to an announcement by Dick Lamb, President. True North is a MountainOne Financial Partner.
According to Lamb, “Rob has been an integral part of True North’s success and this promotion recognizes his accomplishments. His new position will allow him to expand his own role and assist True North in achieving its goals.”
In this new position, Abel will head sales and recruitment efforts at True North, while continuing in his role as a Financial Advisor. Abel has been with True North since 2002. He originally began his career in financial services at Paine Webber. He holds a Master’s Degree from American International College and a Bachelor’s Degree from Williams College.
In the community, Abel serves on the Development Committee for Northern Berkshire Healthcare, the Finance Committee for the Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation, and the Board of Directors for the Taconic Golf Club. He lives in Williamstown with his wife, Christy, and their three children.
