Miniature Horses to Visit Sweet Brook11:12AM / Thursday, February 12, 2009
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Sweet Brook Care Centers is hosting a pet therapy session on Monday, Feb. 16, at 3:45. The public is invited to attend.
Elizabeth Peters of Shaftsbury, Vt., will bring her miniature horses Fred and Eddie to visit with Sweet Brook residents. The horses are gentle, inquisitive, and have a way of connecting with people with special needs. Peters and the horses will be at Sweet Brook until about 4:30 p.m.
Peters completed pet therapy training with Hearts and Hooves, an organization "dedicated to providing interactions with animals that lead to healing smiles and joy."
