Employee Campaign Up Over Last Year to $70,000

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Greylock announced that its annual employee United Way campaigns surpassed previous records, topping out at more than $70,000.  President Angelo C. Stracuzzi thanked campaign tri-chairs Dan Dillon and Sherry Van Bramer from Greylock Federal Credit Union and Kathy Chenail from Greylock Insurance Agency for their efforts in coordinating fun events to encourage employee participation.

“I am so proud of our Greylock employees and their continued support for Berkshire United Way and other community initiatives. To see an increase in the numbers especially now when budgets are tight everywhere speaks to the dedication our employees feel about helping other people,” Stracuzzi said. “Making the Berkshires a wonderful place to live, work and raise our families certainly includes maintaining a strong United Way in Berkshire county.”

Greylock employees raised more than $70,000 through employee pledges, bake sales, raffles, flower sale, bingo night and other functions.

Greylock also donated the services of Relationship Development Officer Dan Dillon and Marketing Services Coordinator Joanne Billow through the Community Advocate program at the United Way during the campaign fund drive this year. Greylock’s corporate donation provided an additional $29,691 including a partnership with Johnson Ford to donate a car raffled off in support of United Way.
