MCLA Trailblazers Launch New Web Site

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – MCLA, a member of the Massachusetts State College Athletics Conference (MASCAC) has partnered with [ http://www.prestosports.com/landing/index ]PrestoSports to launch a new athletics web site athletics.mcla.edu. MCLA marks the fifth member of the MASCAC to join the PrestoSports Network.

"The new site will offer the college community as well as the parents, friends and families of our student-athletes the opportunity to follow the accomplishments of their respective teams," says MCLA Sports Information Director Deb Raber. "The addition of this site provides further evidence of our institution's commitment and support in the development of the MCLA athletics department."

By partnering with PrestoSports, MCLA’s new web site will be updated via a user-friendly content management system with tools built specifically for college athletics. Scores, schedules, and standings, integrate with and immediately update the MASCAC and media sites such as [ http://www.d3hoops.com/ ]d3hoops, [ http://www.d3baseball.com/ ]d3baseball and [ http://www.d3soccer.com/ ]d3soccer.

“The MCLA Athletic Department is extremely excited to be able partner with PrestoSports on our new athletic website. President Grant and the college have demonstrated a strong commitment to MCLA athletics and the new website will further enhance the profile of our department,” comments MCLA Athletics Director Scott Nichols. “This website will provide an opportunity to highlight the many great accomplishments of our student-athletes, coaches and teams.”

MCLA competes in 11 intercollegiate sports: baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, men's golf, men's and women's soccer, softball, women's tennis, and women’s volleyball. Designated in 1997 as "the public liberal arts college of Massachusetts," MCLA is one of only 25 so-designated institutions in the country and is a member of COPLAC, the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges.
