Northern Berkshire Community Coalition hosts forum
01:47PM / Tuesday, May 05, 2009
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Please join the Northern Berkshire Community Coalition on Friday, May 8 as we discuss The Uniqueness of Fatherhood at our monthly Coalition forum. Coalition monthly forums are a vehicle to address current issues.
At the forum discussion about fatherhood, you can expect to create an awareness of prejudices against fathers by our institution, and brainstorm ways to engage fathers more positively in their children's lives. You will also hear and learn from state and national initiatives through the Responsible Fatherhood Movement, and take part in considering next steps in this process that might include creating a "fathering network."
We will begin, as always, with a round of introductions, followed by brief announcements of your upcoming events or new projects. Please don’t forget to bring flyers about announcements also, as there will be a display table for them in the center of the room. Childcare can be available for our meeting if you contact the Coalition office, 663-7588.
