PITTSFIELD, Mass. - Conductor Norman Thibodeau will lead BMS students in a chamber orchestra performance, which completes their spring semester, Tuesday, June 2, 6 pm. at Berkshire Music School.
The program includes a world premiere by Berkshire Community College student Simon Brown entitled Song in C. Simon wrote the piece for the BMS student orchestra. Other selections feature.
Il Re Pastore by Mozart, and three movements of a Vivaldi Concerto with violin soloists Alaina Grygier, age 10, and Ilana Albert, age 9. Both are students of Bing Liu. The event, held at the BMS Edgar B. Taft Recital Hall in Pittsfield, is free and open to the public. Free parking is available.
