Berkshire Community College will offer the following landscape painting course this summer at its South County Center in Great Barrington.
“Landscape Painting” (FAS 114) is the study of painting as applied to landscape. The use of color, composition, and overall principals of design will be discussed in relation to painting out-of-doors. Stylistic diversity will be encouraged. The first session will be held at BCC’s South County Center on Main Street in Great Barrington. The remaining sessions will be held at locations that are an aspiration for aspiring landscape painters. Classes, taught by H.M. Saffer, meet Monday and Wednesday, 9:30 to 1:15, from July 6 through August 11. Cost for registration is $408.
For more information, or to register, call BCC’s South County Center at 413-528-4521. For long distance, (in Mass only), call 800-816-1233, ext. 5201 or 5202.
