One Click Audio02:54PM / Tuesday, June 09, 2009
The David & Joyce Milne Public Library in Williamstown now has downloadable audiobooks available for free. The service is called One Click Audio and is available from our website at www.milnelibrary.org and click on E books. A tutorial is available to help you add the Media Center needed for downloading.
Over 800 titles mostly children’s, young adult and monthly additions of adult titles are available for MP3 and IPod© portable devices and also downloadable to your PC or laptop.
The titles are from Recorded Books which are of highest quality and their narrators are also well known by audiobook lovers.
The CD format is becoming increasingly difficult for libraries to circulate because of the fragility of the format, so downloads are the next step in the ever-changing world of media.
Please stop at the library if you need any assistance with setting this up, you can also search keyword NetLibrary in our online catalog.
For information contact Pat McLeod, Library Director at pmcleod@williamstown.net or 458-5369. |
