 The Most Fascinating?
Easily the "The Refractive Kinescope" installation by KinoDance Company at the corner of Main and Holden. Two little trains chug-chug along a "film reel" bringing light to silent film frames of woman's anger, love, loss. "I love the journey," said one woman watching the lights move, "from passionate love to despair to inner strength."
There was plenty more to see on Main, Holden and Eagle streets. A map of all the locations can be picked up at galleries and local businesses around the city or downloaded here. For more on DownStreet Art, click here.
