The two Cal Ripken AAA baseball teams, comprised of 8- to 12-year-old players from Otis, Monterey, Sandisfield, Great Barrington and surrounding towns, celebrate their winning season recently at Greene Park in Monterey. The 10-year-old South County all-star team plays in the Berkshire County district tournament starting July 1 against Lee.
