PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Berkshire District Attorney David F. Capeless will sponsor a training for child abuse investigators, first-responders, social workers and medical and mental health personnel on Tuesday, June 30.
Approximately 75 people are expected to attend the daylong session at the Crowne Plaza being conducted as part of the ongoing series of trainings in support of the Berkshire County SAIN (Sexual Assault Intervention Network) team.
The training will feature a presentation from Dr. Rebecca Moles, division chief of the University of Massachusetts Children's Medical Center Child Protection Program and will also include presentations by Second Assistant District Attorney Joan McMenemy, state police Trooper Brian Berkel and Pittsfield Police Detective Dale Eason.
