Piano virtuoso returns to EPOCH12:50PM / Wednesday, July 01, 2009
PITTSFIELD, Mass. - Armenian piano virtuoso Karen Tchougourian will perform at EPOCH Assisted Living at Melbourne on Friday, July 10, at 3 p.m. He will perform selections from his extensive repertoire of classical and contemporary music. EPOCH Assisted Living is located at 140 Melbourne Road.
Tchougourian studied at the Komitas University in Armenia and the University of Arkansas. He received his Doctor of Musical Arts from the Manhattan School of Music and has won many performance competitions, including the 1999 Artists International Auditions. As the winner, Tchougourian made a fully sponsored debut at Carnegie Hall. Tchougourian will perform a full range of music from classical to movie scores, jazz and waltz.
As part of EPOCH Assisted Living’s programs for residents and guests, Tchougourian’s performance is free and open to the public. For more information call 413-499-1992. |
