PITTSFIELD, Mass. – A Legacy Banks retail banking professional was selected as the 2009 Massachusetts Business & Professional Women’s organization Virginia Allen Young Careerist.
Heidi Orth, assistant vice president and manager of the Legacy Financial Center at 99 North Street, Pittsfield, won this year’s title after competing in both the Berkshire County and Western Massachusetts Young Careerist programs. The program develops leadership skills for young professionals and includes an essay, interview and culminating speech contest.
In addition to managing Legacy’s main office, a position she has held since 2000, Orth serves as the sales leader for Legacy’s branch network. Before joining Legacy, Orth was marketing coordinator for Berkshire Federal Credit Union and assistant manager at Apple Tree Inn in Lenox.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Bentley University in Waltham, Mass. She also serves as a Registered Paraplanner and is licensed to provide customers with personalized financial consultation as well as insurance solutions. Additionally, Orth serves as treasurer for Citizen’s Scholarship Fund. |
