Mammography Dispute The government's issued controversial new guidelines stating that women shouldn't get annual mammograms until age 50, rather than age 40.

PITTSFIELD, Mass. - Massachusetts residents with no prior college experience are invited to register for a free credit course offered by Berkshire Community College this fall at McCann Technical High School in North Adams.
“Your Path to Success: Life Skills and College Transition” (BCC-125), a team-taught seminar, is designed to help students develop skills necessary for personal, academic and career success. Topics covered include values clarification, goal setting, problem solving, communication skills, meaningful learning, stress and time management, conflict resolution, career exploration, and interpersonal skills development.
Offered free of charge to the first 15 people who register, the course meets Thursday evening at McCann, from 5:30 to 7:30, Sept. 24 through Nov. 12. Upon successful completion of the course, students earn one college credit.
