STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. - Norman Rockwell Museum welcomes illustrator James Warhola for an evening lecture on Thursday, August 13, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Warhola will be sharing memories of his uncle Andrew Warhola, better known to the world as Pop Art impresario Andy Warhol.
Warhola will provide an inside look at his uncle's family background and transformation from a successful illustrator to an artistic innovator whose work forever changed the art world. Following his talk, Warhola will be on hand to sign his books "Uncle Andy's" and "Uncle Andy's Cats," available for purchase in the Museum store.
The lecture is free with regular Museum admission, and is being presented as part of the Museum's "Private Lives: Public Persona" summer lecture and performance series, held Thursday nights at 5:30 p.m. through the month of August.
