GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. - Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation announced that the Central Berkshire Fund is accepting grant applications through September 1. Grants are available to nonprofit organizations, community groups or public agencies that serve the residents of Becket, Cummington, Dalton, Hinsdale, Peru, Washington or Windsor.
Applications are available online at www.berkshiretaconic.org/grantseekers or by calling 413.528.8039.
Applications will be reviewed by a committee of community residents using the combined criteria of excellence of the project or service, impact on the organization or community and ability to carry out the project. The Central Berkshire Fund was established in 2001 as a fund of Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation and works to improve the quality of life for the residents of the seven towns it serves.
Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation builds stronger communities and improves the quality of life for all residents of Berkshire County, MA; Columbia County and northeast Dutchess County, NY; and northwest Litchfield County, CT.
