At Alta Restaurant on Church Street, which is participating for both lunch and dinner on the 20th, owners Aurelien and Erica Telle explained “We are delighted to support IS183 Art School and its programs in our community. It is vital that we work together to sustain not only local businesses but the organizations which enrich our lives”.

The Lenox Library is generously donating their Welles Gallery on Thursday, August 20th for an IS183 Faculty Exhibit from 11am to 7pm. The exhibit is free and open to all art lovers! From Ceramics to Painting to Sculpture to Jewelry and Photography the work of these artists is representative of the best our community has to offer.
The strength and pride of the Art school, IS183s Faculty have graduate degrees from major art schools including Yale, NYU, and RISD; their work is exhibited in permanent collections at prestigious institutions including the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and the Smithsonian Institution; and, many of the faculty artists have received recognition and awards from organizations such as the New York State Council on the Arts, the National Endowment of the Arts, and the Pulitzer Prize of Columbia University.
